In a very important moment for Muslims around the world, Saudi Arabia has officially confirmed the sighting of a half moon. Tonight also marks the beginning of Zul Hijjah 1446 and the end of Hajj this year and Eid ul-Azha or Eid-ul-Azha (also known as Bakra Eid, Bakrid, Bakrid, Eid-ul-Zuha, Eid al-Azha, Eid Qurban, Qurban Bayrami or the Feast of Sacrifice). This means that the spiritual climax of the Islamic calendar is underway. 

 

This is the date for Haj 2025  

Hajj is set to begin on June 04, 2025, while the Day of Arafah – the pinnacle of the Hajj pilgrimage – will fall on Thursday, June 05, 2025, followed by Eid al-Adha on Friday, June 06, 2025.
