In this Mahasangam of faith that lasted for 45 days in Prayagraj, the devotees not only took a holy bath, but also strengthened the financial condition of many people. Not only did big companies benefit, but those doing small businesses also earned well. Some earned lakhs by selling toothpicks, while some got a chance to become a millionaire by selling tea. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath himself told in the Assembly that a person earned a profit of Rs 30 crore during the Mahakumbh.

Earning of Rs 30 crore during 45 days

In the Assembly, CM Yogi Adityanath mentioned the remarkable earnings of a boatman's family. He told that this family earned a net profit of Rs 30 crore during the 45 days of Mahakumbh. They had a total of 130 boats, which earned about Rs 23 lakh per boat. If it is seen on a daily basis, then during the Mahakumbh, every boat earned an income of about 50 to 52 thousand rupees per day.

Who is the boatman?

The boatman mentioned by CM Yogi Adityanath is a resident of Arail in Naini, Prayagraj. His family has been engaged in the boating business for generations. In this Maha Kumbh, where 66 crore devotees took bath, this family transported passengers to the Sangam site through 130 boats and earned a net profit of Rs 30 crore in 45 days.

Sailor Pintu Mahara is very happy with his earnings. He proved that Maha Kumbh is not only a festival of faith but also an opportunity for economic prosperity. Pintu Mahara and his mother Shuklavati said that due to the excellent arrangements made by the Yogi government, the number of devotees increased drastically. In view of this increasing crowd, they also asked for boats from their relatives, so that more and more people could be taken to Sangam. They still cannot believe that they have earned Rs 30 crore. He said that this is the first time that a boatman has earned such a huge amount.
