Ram Mandir Donation Case: VHP International President Alok Kumar said that the most important thing is to improve the system and bring in people who have experience in temple administration.
VHP raises these questions regarding the theft of offerings at the Ram Temple
The entire issue has escalated following the filing of an FIR based on the SIT report into alleged irregularities in offerings to the Ram Temple . Following the resignations of Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust General Secretary Champat Rai and trustee Anil Mishra, the opposition has raised sharp questions about the central government and the trust. Meanwhile, Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) International President Alok Kumar said the system needs reform.
No need to form another committee: VHP
According to a report by news agency ANI, he said, "I don't think there's a need to form another committee for this. The allegations are only against two trustees, not everyone else. Therefore, the most important thing is to improve the system and bring in people with experience in temple administration. This should be done so that all the properties of Lord Ram are completely safe, devotees don't face any problems, and people's faith in this place increases. I hope the trustees will definitely do so."
No culprit should be spared: VHP
Alok Kumar said, "I am satisfied that the demand for an SIT was raised immediately after the allegations were made, and the Trust itself did so. The day the names of the accused were revealed, an FIR was filed against them. I urge the police to prosecute all the accused, whether they are high-ranking officers or low-ranking employees. No culprit should be spared."
These accused were arrested
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took a tough stance on the matter, stating that the government had immediately ordered the formation of an SIT as soon as the allegations surfaced. Late Thursday night, an FIR was filed against eight people, including temple employees, cash counter staff, and some former bank officials. It is alleged that they colluded with each other to embezzle temple donations. The arrested accused include Avinash Shukla, Anukalp Mishra, Lavkush Mishra, Manish Kumar Yadav, Karunesh Pandey, Ramashankar Mishra, Subhash Srivastava, and Ramshankar Yadav alias Tinnu.
