This match was played at the Kotambi Stadium in Vadodara. In this match, Delhi Capitals defeated UP Warriors by 5 wickets and secured their place in the playoffs. Along with the UP team, the Mumbai Indians have also been eliminated from this season. The Mumbai team would have reached the playoffs only if UP had won this match, but the Delhi Capitals did not allow this to happen. The Delhi team will now face Gujarat Giants in the eliminator match on Tuesday, February 3.

Electing to bat first after losing the toss, UP Warriors managed only 122 runs in their allotted 20 overs. Their innings appeared under pressure from the start. They lost wickets early and failed to increase the run rate in the middle overs. Deepti Sharma top-scored with 24 runs. Later, Shikha Pandey scored 23 runs off 13 balls to take UP past the 120-run mark. Simran Sheikh also failed to score more than 22 runs. Apart from her, no other UP batsman could reach the 20-run mark.

On the other hand, Marizanne Kapp bowled brilliantly for the Delhi Capitals, taking three wickets. Chinelle Henry also played a key role, taking two wickets.
