In a deeply disturbing case from Makhanpur, Firozabad (Uttar Pradesh), the sacred relationship between a father-in-law and daughter-in-law was shattered when a woman became the target of repeated harassment in her own home. The survivor, who was married in 2024 and left at home while her husband worked in Gujarat, was allegedly subjected to molestation and inappropriate behavior by her father-in-law.

Despite her repeated protests, the accused continued his behavior. Taking a bold step, the woman secretly recorded a video of the harassment and sent it to her husband.

Husband Takes Swift Action

Shocked and enraged by the video, the husband took immediate leave from work and returned home. Without delay, he approached Makhanpur Police Station and lodged a formal FIR against his father.

The victim’s parents had also tried intervening earlier but were reportedly physically assaulted by the accused when they confronted him.

Police Investigation Underway

The police confirmed that the accused has been booked, and further investigation is ongoing. The woman has undergone a medical examination, and her statement has been recorded. Authorities are treating the matter with seriousness.
