Patients at Safdarjung Hospital and Vardhman Mahavir Medical College now have the ability to view their bodies in 3D. For this purpose, an advanced machine called the Anatomage Table has been installed in the hospital. This table converts a patient's CT and MRI scans into digital 3D models. This means that patients can now view their heart, bones, and tissues in a realistic 3D image. Dr. Sandeep Bansal, Director of Safdarjung Hospital, says that this technology will help patients better understand their disease and treatment. They will be able to clearly see what doctors are saying before an operation, significantly reducing their fear.

This technology is a major revolution for doctors as well. Surgeons can now practice virtually before entering the operating room. They can see in advance where to make cuts and what complications they may encounter. This will reduce the risks of surgery and increase the patient's chances of survival.
