A man was arrested in Madhya Pradesh's Indore district for allegedly raping a five-year-old girl living in his neighbourhood, a police official said on Tuesday. 

The incident took place under the jurisdiction of Lasudiya police station in the district. Police said the minor had gone to her school on Monday and complained to her teacher about pain in her private parts.

After this, the teacher talked to the family and the matter came to light. After getting information about the case, the police talked to the minor and registered a case against the accused under the relevant sections and arrested him.
Additional Commissioner of Police (ACP) Amit Singh told ANI, "Yesterday, a five-year-old girl going to school complained to her teacher about pain in her private parts. After this, the matter came to the notice of the police. 
The police spoke to the minor girl and found out that a man living in her neighbourhood had molested her. "Acting promptly on the basis of the statement, a case was registered under relevant sections and the accused was immediately arrested," he added. 
The officer said that the condition of the minor is stable and he is undergoing treatment. He said that further investigation in the case is underway.
