Crime: First pressure was put on the girl to change her religion, then three people together did such a disgusting thing

In a bizarre incident, the Pune city police have been reported, wherein a 32-year-old woman was allegedly threatened on the pretext of religious conversion and forcibly held hostage in a house and after being rescued, she filed a complaint of sexual assault.

A case has been registered against three people, including a woman, and they have been arrested. The incident came to light after the 32-year-old victim lodged a complaint at the Airport Police Station.

Based on her complaint, the police have registered a case against Santosh Ramdas Gaikwad (55), a resident of Dhanori, Sagar Madhukar Landge (30), a resident of Madhavnagar, Dhanori and a woman.

According to the police, the accused and the victim are known to each other. The accused pressured the victim to convert to their religion. They called her to Dhanori area, where Santosh Gaikwad and Sagar Landge forcibly held her hostage at the woman's house in Dhanori. After this, both of them threatened the victim with a pistol and threatened to kill her. Later, both of them raped the complainant. They made a video of the incident and threatened to post it on social media. After this, Sagar Landge took the victim to Lohegaon area and locked her in a room. The victim has said in her complaint that they threatened and tortured the woman.

Assistant Police Inspector Sachin Dhamane told Mirror, "A case of rape and possession of illegal arms has been registered against the accused. Three people, including the woman, have been arrested. The matter is under investigation."

Both were produced before the court of Judicial Magistrate First Class and sent to police custody.
