5 Players Dropped from the Central Contract

BCB has taken a bold step by excluding five players from this year's central contract:

  1. Shakib Al Hasan – Retired from Test & T20 cricket; not included in ODIs. Also under scrutiny for a suspect bowling action.
  2. Zakir Hasan
  3. Mahmudul Hasan Joy
  4. Naim Hasan
  5. Nurul Hasan

Shakib Al Hasan’s exclusion is not surprising, given his retirement and ongoing issues. However, the absence of the other four players raises questions about their future in Bangladesh cricket.
