If you are thinking that Corona is completely over, then be cautious. Covid-19 has once again started raising its head in Asia and the situation is gradually becoming worrisome. Countries like Hong Kong, Singapore, China and Thailand are witnessing a rapid increase in new cases of infection. On one hand, while the world is trying to return to normal life, on the other hand, Corona has knocked again.

Corona started scaring Hong Kong again
The situation in Hong Kong is changing rapidly. According to the data of the Health Department, the activity of Corona has reached the highest level in the last one year. 31 deaths were recorded in the week ending on May 3, which is a matter of concern. The sample positivity rate is also increasing continuously and the number of patients admitted to hospitals has also increased.
Singapore on high alert
The Singapore government has issued an alert regarding a new wave of Covid. The first week of May saw a 28% increase in cases, which is the biggest jump so far this year. Even the number of people admitted to hospitals has increased by 30%. However, the relief is that so far no new variant has proven to be more deadly or contagious.
Celebrities are also affected
Hong Kong's famous singer Eason Chan has been tested Covid positive, due to which his concert had to be cancelled. This is an indication that Corona is not sparing anyone, be it common or special.
Increase in China and Thailand too
Covid cases are also being reported continuously in China and Thailand. The report of the Chinese Center for Disease Control shows that the infection is spreading rapidly there even in summer, which is different from the normal seasonal pattern.
Relief in India for now
So far, no major surge has been seen in Corona cases in India. But given the increasing pace of Covid in Asian countries, India will also have to remain cautious. Experts say that the virus becoming active in summer indicates that Covid is no longer seasonal.
