Chanakya Niti: Often we meet many people in life. We develop a deep relationship with some of them. It is because of these relationships that any person's life is able to pass easily. The most special and different relationship among all these relationships is friendship. But sometimes friendship can also harm you. Acharya Chanakya's thoughts on friendship are also seen in Chanakya Niti. Acharya Chanakya is still remembered as a learned man of his time. You can know about his words from Chanakya Niti. According to Acharya Chanakya, it is better to distance yourself from these friends immediately. According to the fifth verse of the second chapter of Chanakya Niti,

Parokshe karyahantaram pratyakse priyavadinam.

वर्जयेत्तदर्शं मित्रं विषकुम्भं पैमूखम्॥

According to this shloka, if there is a person who calls himself your friend but speaks ill of you behind your back, you should be cautious of such a person. Such a person is compared to a pot which is full of milk but has poison inside. 

beware of sweet talkers

According to Acharya Chanakya , the person who praises you in front of you and wins your heart with sweet words, but this person spreads rumors about you behind your back and speaks ill of you. Be careful of such a person because this person never wants your welfare. According to Chanakya Niti, such a friend is like a pot full of poison on which milk has been poured, that is, the person is hiding his real identity. Leave the company of such a person immediately. 

It is difficult to trust such people

Regarding friendship, Acharya Chanakya says that too much trust on someone can cause harm. Avoid sharing important and secret things related to your life even with friends. Some people have a habit of revealing your things to others. Such people cannot be trusted, they can take advantage of you out of greed or selfishness.
