John Morgan explained on "The Iced Coffee Hour" podcast, "Employees who didn't want to return to the office were allowed to work from home. But this was subject to monitoring by keeping a camera on their work laptop. In the first week of implementing this policy, 23 employees resigned."

However, Morgan also explained that he viewed these resignations as a sign that some employees were unwilling to accept the oversight and accountability imposed by the company. They didn't have a problem working from home, but rather, they simply didn't want to work.
