A horrific crime has rocked Bijnor district, where six men gang-raped a young woman in front of her fiancé and later circulated a video of the assault online. The incident occurred on Saturday night in a field near the girl’s home.

According to the police complaint, the girl had gone to meet her fiancé, a youth from a nearby village, when they were ambushed by six men from a neighboring area. The attackers brutally assaulted the fiancé before dragging the girl to another field and raping her one by one.

The trauma didn’t end there — the perpetrators recorded the assault and later shared the video on social media platforms, threatening the victim with death if she spoke out. Fearing for her life, the girl initially remained silent. The incident came to light on Tuesday evening when the disturbing video surfaced online.

Acting on the girl’s complaint, police have registered a case and detained three of the named accused: Nitin, Lavish, and Bali. Investigations are ongoing to identify and apprehend the remaining three suspects. The victim has been sent for a medical examination.

Police station in-charge Virendra Kumar confirmed the arrests and assured that justice will be served.
