Jitan Ram Manjhi has made a significant statement on the NDA's historic victory in the 2025 Bihar elections. He said that the mandate was based on the work of Nitish and Modi. The face of Bihar will change in the next five years.

What did Manjhi say on migration and development?
The results of the 2025 Bihar Assembly Elections transformed the political landscape of the state. The NDA secured a strong return to power, winning over 200 seats. Following this landslide victory, Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) chief and former Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi described it as a clear mandate from the people and said that Bihar has now entered a new era.
Reacting to the results, Jitan Ram Manjhi said that the people of the state have expressed confidence in the policies of Nitish Kumar and Prime Minister Narendra Modi . He believes that Bihar is poised for rapid change in the next five years. Manjhi believes that people have reposed their trust in the NDA, citing stability, governance, and development. He said that in the coming years, rapid progress will be made on major issues such as employment, roads, healthcare, and industry, giving Bihar a new direction.
Manjhi also hinted at future politics. He said, "If the people of Bihar have accepted the development model, then the NDA should now receive a mandate in West Bengal as well. This idea aligns with Prime Minister Modi's statement that the political river will flow from Bihar to Bengal."
Manjhi's clarification on SIR - there is no question of religion.
Regarding the recent SIR (Special Intensive Revision) controversy, Jitan Ram Manjhi clarified that it is entirely a matter of security and order, not related to any particular religion. He said that the Indian Constitution grants equal rights to every citizen, but it is necessary to take strict action against those who come from abroad and try to create unrest in the country. With this statement, Manjhi dismissed allegations that attempts were being made to give SIR a religious color.
Employment will come to Bihar, and migration will stop.
Speaking about the widespread migration from the state, Manjhi said that Bihar's youth have suffered for years, wandering to other states in search of employment, but the central government has now launched an initiative to attract investors to Bihar. According to him, in the future, industries will be established and employment opportunities will be created here, eliminating the compulsion for millions of youth to leave their homes.
Such a huge mandate now also brings responsibility – Manjhi.
Manjhi concluded by saying that the public has entrusted the NDA with a significant responsibility. Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar are taking this mandate as a duty and are prepared to take Bihar to new heights. According to him, the state's future now looks brighter than ever before.
