Big action against intruders in Gujarat amid Pahalgam attack, 1024 Bangladeshis in police custody

Kashmir Terror Attack: In view of the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, action has been intensified to expel Pakistanis and illegal Bangladeshis from across the country. Gujarat Police has achieved a big success in this matter.
According to the Indian Express report, Gujarat Police has detained illegal Bangladeshis in an operation that began at 3 am on Saturday. Police have detained 1024 Bangladeshis from major cities of Gujarat, Ahmedabad and Surat. Police have arrested 890 Bangladeshis from Ahmedabad and 134 illegal intruders from Surat.
'Gujarat minister called this action a historic victory'
Gujarat Home Minister Harsh Sanghvi has called this police action a historic victory. He said that the police has shown red eyes to the Bangladeshis living illegally. Police officials also gave information about the operation and said that this is a historic surgical strike against illegal immigrants. This action of Gujarat Police has been taken in view of the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir, for which the Indian government has blamed Pakistan.
The campaign was conducted at 3 am on Saturday
A senior officer in Ahmedabad said on Saturday morning, 'From 3 am today, Ahmedabad Crime Branch along with teams from SOG, EOW, Zone 6 and Headquarters conducted a search operation to nab illegal migrants living illegally in Ahmedabad city. During this operation, more than 400 suspected migrants have been detained.' However, by afternoon this number increased to 890. Most of the people were caught from Chandola Lake area of Ahmedabad city.
The detainees were first kept at the Kankaria football ground and then taken through the city streets to the Gaikwad Haveli headquarters of the Crime Branch. The police have also shared drone videos of this long parade.
