Bengaluru Crime: A 19-year-old college student in Bengaluru has accused a friend of gang rape. Amruthahalli police have registered a case and launched an investigation.

A 19-year-old private college student has been allegedly gang-raped in Bengaluru, Karnataka. A complaint has been filed at the Amritahalli police station, and police have launched an investigation. According to the complaint, the victim is a student at a private college in Bannerghatta. She alleges that in January of this year, she met a man named Dixin, reportedly from West Bengal, through Instagram. They began talking, and after some time, the accused proposed to her, which the victim accepted.

According to the complaint, on the evening of February 14th, the victim went to dinner with a female friend. The accused then invited her to meet him at a private villa in Jakkur. She alleges that during their conversation, she was forcibly given a pink tablet, which rendered her unconscious. Afterward, the accused, Dixin, and his friend, Nikhil, allegedly raped her.

The 19-year-old victim also alleged that the morning after the incident, her boyfriend, Dixin's friend, Nikhil, threatened her and let her go. He threatened to kill her if she told anyone about the incident. Fear and shock kept her silent for some time, but later, she gathered courage and informed her family about the incident and filed a police complaint. The Amruthahalli police have registered a case and launched a detailed investigation to verify the facts. Police say that further legal action will be taken based on the investigation.
