BCCI punishes Angkrish Raghuvanshi for confronting the umpire; he is heavily fined

Raghuvanshi became very angry after being given out obstructing the field. He argued with the umpire, and while returning to the pavilion, he hit the boundary line with his bat and threw his helmet in the dugout. Now action has been taken against Raghuvanshi and he has been given a severe punishment.
Angkrish Raghuvanshi has been fined 20 percent of his match fee and given one demerit point for showing anger after being given an obstruction of the field order. Raghuvanshi was found guilty of violating the code of conduct during Sunday's match against Lucknow (LSG). He angrily hit his bat on the boundary line and threw his helmet into the dugout while returning to the pavilion after the incident in the fifth over of KKR's innings.
"KKR wicketkeeper-batsman Angkrish Raghuvanshi has been found guilty of breaching Level 1 of the IPL Code of Conduct for Players and Team Officials during the IPL match against Lucknow Super Giants and has been fined 20 per cent of his match fee. He will also be handed one demerit point," the IPL said in a statement.
It stated that Raghuvanshi has been found guilty of violating Article 2.2 of the IPL Code of Conduct, which relates to damaging cricket equipment or clothing, ground equipment, etc. during a match. Raghuvanshi has accepted the penalty imposed by the match referee and admitted his guilt.
