The BCCI has announced Team India's squad for the T20 series against New Zealand. Bhuvneshwar Kumar has returned to the Indian team after four years. Bhuvneshwar Kumar last played for Team India against New Zealand in November 2022, and now he will be making his comeback against New Zealand.
A BCCI meeting was held at the ACA Stadium in Guwahati on Tuesday. The squad decision was made at that meeting. Interim Chief Selector Pragyan Ojha, RP Singh, Shiv Sunder Das, Ajay Ratra, and BCCI Secretary Devjit Saikia were also present. The India A squad for the New Zealand tour was also selected at the same meeting. India A will play three multi-day matches on the tour. The series begins on October 24th.
