App Spreading Nude Photos of Girls Goes Viral: Shocking Revelation from Jaipur

In the digital age, women of all ages, from senior citizens to college girls, are using smartphones. However, a disturbing case has emerged from Rajasthan. An app has been found to be circulating nude photos of girls without their consent.

Incident in Jaipur

A 25-year-old woman from the Malpura area of Jaipur has been facing extreme distress over the past few days. A nude photo of hers has gone viral on social media. The photo has reached almost all her relatives and hundreds of other people, making it impossible for her to step outside her house. The woman has filed a case at the Malpura police station along with her family.

How the Incident Happened

The ordeal began when the young woman came across a loan app on social media. She searched for it in the app store and downloaded it. According to the woman, she only wanted to check her civil score, which is why she downloaded the app. However, she didn’t understand how to use it, so she deleted it after about fifteen minutes. During this time, she had given all the requested permissions to the app.

Threat of Photo Exposure

Soon after, the loan app’s representatives called her and mentioned that money had been sent to her account. On May 18, three installments of ₹3010 (₹9030 in total) were deposited into her account without her knowledge, and she was asked to pay ₹15,000. When she refused to pay, requesting her ₹9,000 back, the money was not refunded. Shortly after, the app representatives called again, threatening to send her nude photos to everyone in her phone contacts. They warned her that if she didn’t pay ₹15,000, they would release more compromising photos.

Photos Edited and Shared

The police believe that by granting all the app's permissions, the app gained access to personal information, including photos. Some of these photos were edited and then sent out to others. The police are currently investigating the matter.
