Shree Charani T20 Bowling Ranking: India's Shree Charani has become the world's No. 1 T20 bowler. She gained in the rankings due to her impressive performance in the Women's T20 World Cup.

The world has a new number 1 bowler.
India's star spinner Shree Charani has become the world's No. 1 T20 bowler. Her impressive performance in the Women's T20 World Cup has earned her a significant boost in the rankings. Shree Charani took 10 wickets in three World Cup matches and is currently the leading wicket-taker in the tournament.
This achievement by 21-year-old Shree Charani is incredible, considering she made her international debut just over a year ago. Over the past 13-14 months, she has emerged as one of Team India's most effective bowlers. She has overtaken England's Linsey Smith, who has now slipped two spots to third.
Shri Charani has 753 rating points, while second-placed Charlie Dean has 733. Apart from Charani, only Deepti Sharma is in the top 10 bowlers' list. Deepti has dropped three places in the T20 bowling rankings, dropping her to number 8. It's worth noting that no Indian has gained in the T20 bowling rankings except Shri Charani.
Looking at Sri Charani's World Cup performance so far, she took three wickets for just 21 runs against Pakistan. She then wreaked havoc on the Netherlands batting line-up, taking four wickets for just 19 runs. Although Team India lost against South Africa, Sri Charani still managed to take three wickets there.
In the T20 batting rankings, Shafali Verma has moved up one spot to sixth, while Smriti Mandhana has retained her fifth spot. Captain Harmanpreet Kaur has also entered the top 10, gaining one spot.
