Smartphone Tips: No matter how expensive a smartphone is these days, if the network isn't working properly, all its features seem useless. Frequently dropped calls, unclear voice, or extremely slow internet speeds are all signs of a weak signal. People often assume the operator is the problem, but the truth is that a few simple steps can significantly improve the network.

Refresh the phone's network settings once

If your phone's signal is low for a long time, first turn on Airplane Mode and then turn it off after 20-30 seconds. This allows the phone to reconnect to the nearest tower. In many cases, this is the only way to increase the network bars. This trick is especially useful when you're traveling.

Select the correct network mode

Often, the phone is in automatic mode, constantly switching between 4G, 5G, or 3G. This can be problematic in areas with weak network connectivity. Try manually setting the network mode to 4G or 3G in your settings. Sometimes, while searching for 5G, the phone picks up a weak signal, even though 4G is more stable.

Phone cover and location also have an effect

Thick or metal mobile covers can weaken the signal. If your phone consistently displays poor network performance, remove the cover and check. Furthermore, the network is often weak indoors, especially in elevators, basements, or between thick walls. Moving near a window or an open space may improve signal quality.

Software update and network reset required

Outdated software can sometimes cause network issues. Check your phone's software and carrier updates. If the problem persists for a long time, resetting your network settings is also an effective solution. This can resolve Wi-Fi and mobile network issues.

Check the SIM card and operator

An old or damaged SIM card can also cause a weak signal. If your SIM is several years old, it's worth replacing it with a new 4G or 5G SIM. It's also important to learn which network works best in your area.
