India has not yet reacted to this. Neelam Valley is located just 3 km away from the Indian border. It is a part of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. After the Pahalgam attack, Neelam Valley area of Pakistan is the most affected.
More than 100 died in the strike
In Pakistan, more than 100 people have been killed due to the strike. India has carried out surgical strikes in the areas of Muzaffarabad and Sialkot. The Indian Foreign Ministry says that this strike has been carried out in those areas where there were terrorist camps.
India has destroyed 4 camps of Jaish-e-Mohammed, 3 of Lashkar-e-Taiba and 2 of Hizbul Mujahideen. According to the Indian Foreign Ministry, these terror organizations were preparing to attack again.
This is not the first time that India has carried out a surgical strike on Pakistan. India had also carried out surgical strikes after the attack in Uri in 2016 and Pulwama in 2019.
250 terrorists were killed in the Uri surgical strike and 300 terrorists were killed in the Balakot surgical strike. Pakistan went on the back foot after both the strikes.
