6 policemen including SHO of Pahalgam were transferred, a big allegation was made after the terrorist attack
After the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, the station in-charge has been transferred. Pahalgam SHO Riyaz Ahmed has been sent to District Police Line Anantnag. Peer Ahmed Gulzar has been made the new SHO of Pahalgam. Anantnag SSP has transferred six inspectors. Let us tell you that there was a terrorist attack in Pahalgam on 22 April.
Amid the situation arising out of the Baisaran Pahalgam massacre, on Monday, the administration transferred six inspector rank officers in district Anantnag and posted Pahalgam police station in-charge Riyaz Ahmed in the district police line. He has been asked to provide his services in the office of ASP Ashmuqam. In his place, Inspector Peer Gulzar Ahmed has been made the station in-charge of Pahalgam.
The terrorist attack took place on 22 April
It is noteworthy that on 22 April, terrorists killed 26 people including 25 tourists and one local in Baisaran Pahalgam. After this massacre, the concerned police station in-charge was also accused of negligence in duty.
Not only this, during investigation it was found that terrorists had also done recce of some other places in Pahalgam before the attack, but the concerned police station in-charge has failed to take action in this matter.
6 police officers transferred
Today, District SSP Anantnag Amritpal Singh has transferred six police officers of Inspector rank. It would not be inappropriate to mention here that SSP Amritpal Singh took over as District SSP Anantnag on 21 April, a day before the Baisaran massacre.
According to the transfers issued today by the District SSP, Inspector Abdul Rashid posted in the District Police Line has been appointed as Police Station Incharge Ashmuqam.
Who got posted where?
Inspector Nisar Ahmad has been transferred from District Police Lines to the post of Station House Officer Sirigufwara. He will replace Inspector Shailinder Singh, who has been sent to District Police Lines Anantnag from the post of Station House Officer Sirigufwara. Inspector Parvez Ahmad has been transferred from District Police Lines to the post of Station House Officer Kokernag.
