Weather Update- Rain in Indore gave relief from heat, know how will be the weather today

By Jitendra Jangid- North India is facing the brunt of severe heat, where the mercury has reached above 45 degrees in many areas, but if we talk about yesterday, rain in Indore, Madhya Pradesh has provided relief from the heat, the sudden change in the weather brought down the temperature, but people are facing problems due to increased humidity. According to the Meteorological Department, monsoon is expected to arrive in Indore after June 15, which is expected to bring continuous rain and cold.

The severe heat wave in Indore subsided as thunderstorms and light rains occurred in the area. On Thursday, the maximum temperature fell by 3.4 degrees Celsius to 38.2 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature also dropped by 1 degree Celsius and came to 25.6 degrees Celsius.

The storm caused many damages. Heavy rains and strong winds lashed many areas in and around Indore, causing trees to fall on roads and railway tracks. Train movement was disrupted due to a tree falling on the track in Ratlam.

Monsoon expected to arrive after June 15

Hiralal Khapadia of the Meteorological Department said that monsoon winds will reach Indore after June 15. Till then, heat and humidity are expected to remain in the city, with light rains in between. After the arrival of monsoon, the temperature is expected to gradually drop and rainfall is expected to increase.
