Weather Alert:

The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for Punjab, Haryana and UP, warning residents to be cautious during this heat.

Upcoming weather changes:

Relief is expected between June 12 and 16, light rain is forecast in Haryana, Punjab and Himachal Pradesh. Winds are expected to blow at a speed of 40 to 50 km / h, which may bring down the temperature slightly.

Health advice:

People are advised to step out only for essential work during the afternoon to avoid heat-related illnesses.

Temperature forecast:

No significant drop in temperature is expected in the next four days, but there may be a gradual decrease of 2 to 4 degrees Celsius after rain in hilly areas.

Effect on Delhi-NCR:

The effect of the changing weather will also be felt in Delhi-NCR, which will slightly reduce the scorching heat currently prevailing in cities like Gurugram, Noida, Ghaziabad and Faridabad.
