Virat Kohli arrives in Bengaluru for fitness test ahead of England series, threat looms over his playing career.

Virat Kohli: Virat Kohli has reached Bengaluru for the ODI series against England, where his fitness test will be conducted.

 

 

 

A three-match ODI series will be played between India and England, starting July 14th. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced a 15-member Indian team for the series last Sunday (June 21st), which included Virat Kohli. However, the board stated that Kohli's availability will depend on his fitness. Now, King Kohli has arrived in Bengaluru for a fitness test.

A video of Kohli arriving in Bengaluru is rapidly going viral on social media. He was spotted at the airport. Kohli will now undergo a fitness test at the BCCI's Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru. Kohli was seen wearing a plain black shirt and carrying a bag. According to reports, Kohli completed the initial fitness test in London. However, he will now have to take the required fitness test in Bengaluru to be part of Team India.

 

Injury was sustained in IPL 2026

Kohli suffered a hamstring injury during IPL 2026. He was seen in trouble while batting in the title match against the Gujarat Titans.

Afghanistan series missed

Recently, the three-match ODI series between India and Afghanistan concluded. Kohli was part of Team India in this series as well, but due to injury, he was unable to play a single match.

Kohli is expected to bat aggressively in England.

Kohli will be expected to perform well in the upcoming ODI series against the English team. Kohli last played an ODI for the Men in Blue against New Zealand earlier this year.
