 Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brijesh Pathak discussed the challenges in India's health sector and the goal of a healthy India by 2047. He spoke about free ultrasound facilities for pregnant women and Arogya Mandirs in rural areas. 55 types of medicines and 14 types of pathology tests are available free of cost at Arogya Mandirs. Pathak also stressed on strengthening the state's health infrastructure.

TV9 Bharatvarsh Health Conclave 2025 was organized on the future challenges of India's health sector and health issues. In this program, Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brijesh Pathak spoke on how India will become healthy in 2047. He has ministries like Health, Medical and Child Welfare. A film on UP's health was also shown in the program. In the program, many health related issues like diabetes, heart disease and the overall health of the citizens were discussed.

 

Brijesh Pathak told that the biggest problem women face during pregnancy is getting ultrasound done. For this, we have developed an app in collaboration with SBI Bank. With the help of this, a bar code is sent to pregnant women. Along with this, we have arranged for free ultrasound in collaboration with all private centers. Women can get ultrasound done from anywhere, the money for which is given by the government.

He said that dialysis process has started in all the districts of the state. Now any kidney patient does not have to go to the cities. The government has made this arrangement at two places in many big districts. Along with this, earlier doctors used to refer patients due to negligence in the primary hospital. Regarding this, we made it sure that the doctors write in the register why the patient is being referred.

There is no need to be afraid of AI - Deputy CM

The Deputy CM said that nowadays people's routine is disturbed. People are falling ill due to this. To avoid this, people should take the help of nature. One should wake up every morning and exercise. This will eliminate many diseases of people. Eat food according to the climate and eat only as much food as is necessary.

Deputy CM Brijesh Pathak said that there is no need to fear AI. It is for the convenience of the people. No one is going to lose their job because of it. That is why instead of being afraid of it, explain its use.

UP is giving 5 lakh salary to doctors

The CM said that in today's time all specialist doctors show interest in opening their own hospitals. Due to this there is a shortage of specialists in rural areas. For this, the government has found a solution that the UP government is hiring private doctors on contract basis at a salary of up to 5 lakhs. So far more than 300 such doctors have been appointed in the state.

He said that at present people are being treated through Sanjivani App in the state. In UP alone, 1 lakh people are being treated online every day.

Treatment is being done from Arogya Mandirs- Pathak

Regarding the health sector of UP, Deputy CM Brijesh Pathak said that the health structure in the state has been strengthened. People in rural areas can get treatment in their own villages. For this, health Arogya Mandirs have been established. At present, more than 25 thousand Arogya Mandirs are being run in the state. Apart from this, 5000 have been approved, which will be built in the coming time.

Around 55 types of medicines are distributed to the general public in these Arogya Mandirs operating in the state. Medicines for all types of minor diseases are given here. Apart from this, 14 types of pathology tests are done absolutely free. Along with vaccination, delivery arrangements are also available.

People are getting ambulance in 6 minutes

On the question of not getting ambulances on time in the state, the Deputy CM said that all this used to happen before 2017. Everyone knows what the situation of the state was at that time. Today 2250 ambulances work on dialer number 102. Apart from this, there are 2250 ambulances in 108, whose response time has been reduced from 30 to 7 minutes. Anyone can check this. Today everyone in the state can get an ambulance in 6-7 minutes.
