Ranchi Kidnapping Case: The black coloured I-20 car (JH01FU-6874) of the criminals running away with the kidnapped student started moving rapidly towards Mandu. As soon as the I20 car reached near Mandu, the criminals saw that the Mandu police was searching them by setting up a check post. Seeing the police, the criminals turned the car back and started moving towards Kujju. Seeing this, Mandu police station in-charge Sadanand Kumar started chasing the criminals.

Ranchi Kidnapping Case| Kuju (Ramgarh), Dhaneshwar: The student kidnapped from Ranchi was recovered safely within 3 hours by Ranchi and Ramgarh police. Ramgarh SP Ajay Kumar gave this information in a press conference at Kujju OP. He told that on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, around 8-9 am, while the daughter of Aftab Alam, a daily market fruit trader resident of Karbala Chowk Ranchi, was going to Bishop Westcott School Ranchi in a Toto, masked criminals riding in a car hit the Toto on Ranchi Sirmatoli flyover, forcibly made the minor girl sit in the car at gunpoint and fled towards Ramgarh.

Ranchi police gave information to Ramgarh SP

The family informed Ranchi police about the girl's kidnapping. After this, IG Manoj Kaushik, DIG/SSP Chandan Kumar Sinha took action and informed Ramgarh SP. After this, Ramgarh SP Ajay Kumar took immediate action and informed all the police station and OP in-charges on NH-33 about the girl's kidnapping and directed them to block the road.

The criminals were fleeing in a black i20 car

The kidnappers left the student near Bank of Baroda and fled

The criminals entered the populated area of Shriram Chowk KB Gate Gali due to fear of police. Also, due to fear of police raid and encounter, the criminals dropped the girl from the car near Bank of Baroda and fled towards Kujju Chowk. On the other hand, Mandu police station in-charge Sadanand Kumar and Kujju OP in-charge Ashutosh Kumar Singh, who were chasing the car, recovered the girl safely and brought her to the OP.

The girl student was recovered due to the promptness of the Mandu police station in-charge

Ramgarh SP Ajay Kumar praised the promptness of Mandu police station in-charge Sadanand Kumar. He said that Ramgarh police has got a big success due to the prompt action of Sadanand Kumar. On the other hand, Hatia DSP PK Mishra also praised Mandu police station in-charge Sadanand Kumar. He said that due to his promptness the kidnappers got scared and ran away and left the student.

The kidnappers will be caught at any cost: Ramgarh SP

When Ramgarh SP Ajay Kumar was asked about the kidnapping of the girl, it is being investigated whether the case is related to personal dispute or the kidnapping was being done for levy. Continuous raids are being conducted in the area to seize the car of the criminals and to catch the criminals. Soon the criminals will be in the custody of the police. It is being told that the age of the kidnappers is between 20 to 25 years.

On the safe recovery of the kidnapped girl, her father Aftab Alam and family members praised the efficient leadership of Ranchi and Ramgarh SP Ajay Kumar. It is because of the promptness of the police that our girl is safe and is among us. All the police officers deserve thanks for this.

The kidnappers were trying to take the kidnapped student to Patna

The girl who was freed from the clutches of the kidnappers is scared. The student said in Kuju OP campus that after kidnapping her, the criminals blindfolded her. The criminals did not beat her. All the criminals were talking among themselves that they will take me (the student) to Patna.
