Border 2 Shooting in Jhansi: Sunny Deol has started shooting for 'Border 2' in Jhansi. This is the sequel of JP Dutta's 1997 film 'Border'. Deol was accompanied by his co-actor Varun Dhawan on the sets of the film. Deol also played an important role in the war-based film 'Border'. Production banner T-Series gave this information on its official 'X' page on Tuesday.

Sunny Deol spotted in Jhansi

The post said that Sunny Deol started shooting for the film with Varun Dhawan on the sets of 'Border 2' in Jhansi Cantonment. Directed by Anurag Singh, 'Border 2' also stars Diljit Dosanjh and Ahan Shetty. According to the makers, the film has great action, drama and emotional depth. The film will be released in theaters on January 23, 2026.

The film 'Border', which depicts an important chapter of the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971, was a box office hit when it was released in June 1997.
