Google Wallet: Google has clarified that enabling package tracking in Wallet will not affect your emails in Gmail.

Google Wallet: Google Wallet was launched as a digital payment app. But now, this app will no longer be limited to just a digital payment app. Google has added a new feature to it. This new feature will allow users to easily track their online orders within the app. Yes, Google Wallet will soon have a feature that will allow users to track their online orders directly through the app. Google will be able to do this with the help of the order receipt in your email.

Information will be available on the home screen.

According to reports, if you have a parcel arriving soon, you'll find all the information about it on the Google Wallet homepage. From there, you can get the parcel's exact location and other delivery statuses with just a tap. However, once the delivery is complete, this information will automatically disappear from the homepage.

Gmail will not be affected.

Google has clarified that enabling package tracking in Wallet will not affect your email in Gmail. This feature is limited to receiving information from parcel receipts and providing you with updates. Beyond that, your other email will remain unaffected.

No need for a delivery app

For your information, with this new Google feature, users no longer need any other website or delivery app to track their parcels. Now, users can do this directly within Google Wallet. Google will automatically track the parcel using the receipt in Gmail and display it in the Wallet app.

Indian users will have to wait.

For your information, this feature has currently been launched in the US as a testing phase. Indian users may have to wait a little longer for this new feature. According to Google, this feature supports the email format of most large retailers, but it may take some time to integrate with smaller online stores.
