Rann Samvad 2025: CDS General Anil Chauhan said that the war in the near future will be very dangerous, we can win it only by working together (Army, Air Force and Navy together).

CDS General Anil Chauhan has given a strong message to the enemies of the country that even though India is a peace-loving country, we are not 'pacifists'. In such a situation, the enemy should not be under any misunderstanding. This is the reason why the country's forces are always ready for war, because peace can come only through power.

CDS General Chauhan, while addressing the Ran-Samvad program organized at the Army War College in Mhow (Indore) on Tuesday (August 26, 2025), said that peace without power is a 'utopian' concept. General Chauhan, repeating the lines of national poet Ramdhari Singh Dinkar, said that "Forgiveness suits that cobra who has poison, what about the one who is toothless, venomless, humble, simple." The CDS said that if you want peace, then be prepared for war.

CDS told - how will the future warfare be

General Chauhan said that the purpose of Ran Samvad is not to discuss Operation Sindoor. Because the lesson that we had to learn from Operation Sindoor is being implemented. The CDS said that in Ran Samvad we are discussing what is ahead of  Operation Sindoor, that is, how will the 'future warfare' be.

He said that the war of the near future will be very dangerous, we can win it only by working together (Army, Air Force and Navy together). General Chauhan said that we have to become strong and self-reliant in every situation.

What was said about the Sudarshan Chakra Mission?

On the announcement made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi about the Sudarshan Chakra Mission from the ramparts of the Red Fort on the occasion of Independence Day this year, the CDS said that work on this has already begun. General Chauhan said that the successful test of the Integrated Air Defense Weapon System (IADWS) by DRDO (Defense Research and Development Organization) on Sunday is a part of this series. 

The CDS said that when this mission is completed in the year 2035, it will protect the country like India's Iron Dome (or Golden Dome). The CDS said that India is moving towards becoming developed. In such a situation, the Indian forces are also trying to join the category of advanced military of the world.
