Patna Metro News: The launch of the metro service from Bhootnath to Malahi Pakadi will not only relieve thousands of commuters in Patna but will also make the city's transportation system more accessible and streamlined.

There's good news for the residents of Patna, the capital. The Patna Metro Rail successfully completed a trial run from Bhootnath Station to Malahi Pakadi Station on Thursday (February 26). This achievement marks a significant step towards a modern and safe public transportation system in the city. According to the Patna Metro Rail Corporation Limited (PMRCL), metro rail operations from Bhootnath to Malahi Pakadi Metro Station will commence soon. 

These standards were thoroughly examined.

Currently, the metro is operating only from Patliputra Bus Terminal to Bhootnath. This trial run was conducted in accordance with the technical standards set for the elevated corridor. During the trial, the metro train was operated at various speeds and tested on several parameters. The parameters thoroughly examined on Thursday included the functionality of the signaling system, the performance of the braking system, the track and overhead electrification system, station coordination and communication systems, as well as emergency safety protocols. 

The operation of the train during the trial was completely satisfactory.

In the presence of Metro technical experts and engineers, the train was run at maximum speed, and all safety standards were tested. Official sources from the Patna Metro Rail Corporation Limited (PMRCL) stated that the train's operation was found to be completely satisfactory during this trial. 

Thousands of passengers will get relief from traffic jams.

Sources said that after this successful test run, the next phase is safety inspection and final approval. Once all necessary formalities are completed, steps will be taken to commence commercial operations of the Patna Metro Rail on this section. The commencement of metro service from Bhootnath to Malahi Pakadi will not only relieve thousands of commuters in the capital Patna from traffic jams but will also make the city's traffic system more streamlined and smooth.
