Nothing's first AI device will be unveiled in December.
Carl Pei, founder and CEO of Nothing, revealed in a post on X that the company will launch its first AI-native product in December. This will be another new product from the company this year. Previously, the company introduced the Nothing Headphone (1) Pro in some global markets in September. Carl Pei stated that the new AI device will feature a screenless design. He also shared a picture of the device, which shows its rounded edges and textured frame. However, the company has not yet revealed its name or what category it will fall into.
Nothing's new product won't be an app or a new screen.

After smartphones, the focus is now on AI devices.
. In his post, Carl Pei also discussed the changing face of consumer technology. According to him, today the tech industry is looking for the next big change, similar to what was seen after the advent of smartphones. He said that companies are experimenting with various devices for AI, such as pendants, pins, smart glasses, and AI assistants. Their aim is to make AI a part of people's everyday lives.
Is the company also making smart AI glasses?
A report a few weeks ago claimed that Nothing was working on two types of AI smartglasses. One model could come with a camera, and the other without. Both were said to offer features like listening to music, playing audiobooks, making phone calls, and interacting with an AI chatbot. The model with a camera could also include ChatGPT, though it's unclear whether the screenless device Carl Pei teased is one of these smart glasses or if the company is working on an entirely new product.
