Heavy rain continues to lash many states across the country. The weather has also changed in Rajasthan.

Heavy rains are still continuing in many states of the country. Meanwhile, the weather has changed in Rajasthan as well. Monsoon activities have increased once again in the state. According to the Meteorological Department, today and tomorrow, rain activities may increase in some parts of Kota , Bharatpur and Jaipur divisions of eastern Rajasthan . During this time , an alert of heavy rain has also been issued by the Meteorological Department. During this time , light to moderate rain may occur in some areas of Udaipur and Ajmer divisions .  

According to the Meteorological Department, scattered rain is forecast today in Jaipur , Bharatpur , Kota , Ajmer , and Udaipur divisions . Rain may also occur in some parts of the Bikaner division in western Rajasthan . A low- pressure area over eastern India has activated around northern Odisha , Jharkhand , and West Bengal .

The Meteorological Centre, Jaipur has issued a rain alert in 16 districts of the state today. The department has issued a warning of thunderstorm and rain in the capital Jaipur as well as Sriganganagar , Pali , Karauli , Baran , Deeg , Churu , Jhalawar , Chittorgarh , Balotra , Kota , Rajsamand , Hanumangarh , Bharatpur , Udaipur and Bikaner. An alert has been issued for strong gusty winds along with thunder and lightning in these areas of the state .

The highest maximum temperature in the state was recorded in Sriganganagar.
According to the department, the monsoon is expected to remain weak in the Jodhpur and Bikaner divisions of western Rajasthan for the next week . The highest maximum temperature in the state was recorded in Sriganganagar at 39.2 degrees Celsius .
