Panchjanya Inaugurate: In Kurukshetra, Haryana, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated a newly constructed memorial honoring Lord Krishna's divine "Panchjanya." The Panchjanya conch shell originated from the slaying of Shankhasura. It is the same conch shell of Lord Krishna whose sound marked the beginning and end of the 18-day Mahabharata War.

According to mythological beliefs, Lord Krishna's Panchajanya was not only a war conch but also a symbol of the restoration of dharma. Today, with the inauguration of the newly constructed "Panchajanya" memorial in Kurukshetra, Sanatanis are wondering whether the symbolic sound of Panchajanya will once again awaken that same dharma energy.

Whenever the Ardham increases, new energy awakens.

Religious scriptures describe that, regardless of the era, whenever the influence of unrighteousness increases, a renewed sense of righteousness is awakened. This was also the case during the Mahabharata. When the sound of the Panchajanya fire began the battle and Krishna's teachings revived Arjuna's morale, the course of the righteous war was set, and unrighteousness was defeated.

According to scholars, the inauguration of the newly constructed Panchajanya in Kurukshetra is also being seen as a rebirth of a wave of spiritual consciousness. With the establishment of the sacred Panchajanya, it is believed that it will become not just an architectural landmark but also a center of renaissance of religious energy.

Equipped with state-of-the-art technology, the Mahabharata Experience Center will bring the messages of the Gita, Dharma, Niti, and Yudh Dharma to the modern world. Furthermore, the inauguration of the newly constructed Panchajanya conch shell could open a new door to spiritual energy in the increasingly turbulent environment of Kaliyuga.

Why was Lord Krishna's Panchajanya conch so special?

It is said that Lord Krishna's Panchajanya conch shell's most distinctive feature is its sound. During the Mahabharata period, when sophisticated technology wasn't available today, it was designed to carry its sound for kilometers. It is said that the sound of the Panchajanya conch shell was like the roar of a thousand lions. Krishna used this very conch shell during the Mahabharata War. The conch shell was blown at the beginning of the war in the morning and at the end in the evening. This process lasted for 18 days.
