Everyone is now eagerly awaiting the India vs. Pakistan match in the 2026 T20 World Cup , which takes place on February 15th. Suryakumar Yadav and his team arrived in Colombo on Friday night for this big match. Team India received a warm welcome at the airport, with artists performing traditional dances. When Arshdeep approached them, he too danced towards them.

The Indian cricket team, having won both of its opening matches, is at the top of the points table. Pakistan, also coming off victories in both matches, is in second place in the standings. This match is less about points than it is about prestige, a battle both countries are eager to win. While Team India is certainly strong on paper, the pressure is on both teams. When the team arrived at Colombo airport for this match, Sri Lankan artists welcomed the team with drums and traditional dances. Hardik Pandya was seen with his girlfriend. Arshdeep Singh also joined the dance in the same style.

Will Abhishek Sharma play in the India-Pakistan match?

The biggest question right now is whether Abhishek Sharma will play in the India vs. Pakistan match on February 15th. The No. 1 T20 batsman missed the previous match because he was hospitalized for two days due to a stomach infection. Although he was with the team during the match against Namibia, he didn't appear to be fully fit.

The India vs. Pakistan match will be played at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo, starting at 7:00 PM IST. The match will be broadcast live on the Star Sports network and streamed live on the JioHotstar app.
