Update on Rishabh Pant Injury: On the first day of the first Test being played between India and England at Lord's Cricket Ground, Rishabh Pant got injured and left the field. Now, BCCI has given an update on his injury.

Rishabh Pant's injury has increased Team India's concern. Vice-captain Pant got injured on the first day of the India vs England third Test being played at Lord's Cricket Ground, after which he was treated on the field itself but then he had to leave the field. Dhruv Jurel kept wicket in his place till the end of the day's play. The Board of Control for Cricket in India issued an official statement saying that Pant has suffered an injury to the index finger of his left hand.
Update on Rishabh Pant's injury
On the vice-captain's injury, BCCI said in a statement, "Indian team's vice-captain Rishabh Pant has suffered an injury on the index finger of his left hand. He is currently undergoing treatment and is under the supervision of the medical team. In the absence of Rishabh Pant, wicketkeeping is being done by Dhruv Jurel." Let us tell you that after the injury, Rishabh Pant was given treatment on the field for some time, spray was also applied on his finger but he did not get relief.

How did Rishabh Pant get injured?
On the first day of the Lord's Test, during England's first innings, in the 34th over bowled by Jasprit Bumrah, Rishabh Pant jumped to stop the ball going on the leg side, after which he got injured and was groaning in pain. His hand touched the ball but he could not stop it completely. After this, the medical staff came on the ground and the match was halted for some time. Before the match resumed, Rishabh Pant had left the field.
Is Rishabh Pant ruled out of the third Test?
Former England captain Nasser Hussain also gave an update on Rishabh Pant. He said that he has an injury on the index finger of his left hand, his nail is broken, which causes a lot of pain.
