JD Vance's wife Usha Vance revealed that she came to know about her husband's candidature for the post of Vice President with Trump just 5 minutes before the people of the country.

JD Vance Wife Interview: US Vice President JD Vance's wife Usha Vance recently gave an interview to Meghan McCain. In this, Usha revealed that she had received information about her husband's nomination for the post of Vice President just 5 minutes before.

According to Usha Vance, it was really like a lightning strike. I did not even get a chance to think. She told, 'There was no planning for this and now she is just trying to go along with it. If it lasts for four years, it is okay. If it happens again sometime, it is also okay. I am just a part of this journey.'

In the interview, Usha Vance also said that she still sees herself as a millennial woman living in the world, who feels comfortable doing Pilates, coffee runs and wearing athleisure. She also avoids hair styling appointments. She said that her dream was to continue her career while staying at home, but now her identity has changed as the second lady of the country.

When asked about the Indian origin second lady, Usha said that maybe we have gone ahead in trying to count everything first. I am not sure, except when the elder Indian people look at me that way. Regarding the family, she said that the experiences of her children are also changing now. They hear discussions on Ukraine-Russia war and politics in school. This shows how the family of a public person experiences the changing social environment.
