Who got how much prize money?

 

T20 World Cup Prize Money for All Teams: The 2026 T20 World Cup winner, Team India, has been showered with a significant amount of money. The Indian team received a prize money of ₹27.48 crore (274.8 million rupees). In the final match played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday, Team India defeated New Zealand by 96 runs. New Zealand also received a significant amount of money for finishing as runner-up.

How much money will Team India and New Zealand get?

Team India received US$3 million, or approximately Rs 27.48 crore in Indian currency, for becoming the world champion. This prize money is approximately Rs 4 crore more than the previous World Cup. Meanwhile, New Zealand, the runner-up of the 2026 T20 World Cup, received a prize of approximately Rs 14.65 crore.

How much money did the other teams get?

Each losing semi-final team received approximately ₹7.24 crore (72.4 million rupees). This means that both England and South Africa received ₹7.24 crore (72.4 million rupees).

Each team eliminated in the Super 8 stage received ₹3.48 crore (3.48 crore rupees). Zimbabwe, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and West Indies received ₹3.48 crore (3.48 crore rupees).
