Hindustan Aeronautics Limited announced Q1 results, the company's profit fell by 4 percent

Hindustan Aeronautics Limited Q1 Results: Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) has announced its first-quarter results. During this period, the company has suffered a loss of 3.7 percent.

Hindustan Aeronautics Limited  Q1 Results: Defense sector government company Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) has suffered a loss of 3.7 percent in the first quarter of the financial year 2025-26. Whereas in the June quarter a year ago, the company had a profit of Rs 1,437 crore. At the same time, in the same quarter of this year, there has been a profit of Rs 1,383 crore. However, the company's revenue has increased during this period. 

The company's revenue increased so much compared to last year 

In the first quarter of FY26, the company's revenue was recorded at Rs 4,819 crore, while in the same quarter of the previous financial year, HAL's revenue was Rs 4,347 crore. That is, there has been a jump of 10.8 percent in it.

 

 

At the operational level, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited's EBITDA rose 29.2 percent to Rs 1,284.3 crore from Rs 994 crore in the same quarter last year. During the June quarter, the EBITDA margin increased 384 basis points to 26.7 percent from 22.86 percent in the first quarter of the previous financial year.

After the announcement of the quarterly results, HAL's shares did see a decline, but they soon improved. During the day's trading, the company's shares were seen trading in the green market.  

 

India's defense sector is growing rapidly 

India's defense sector is growing rapidly. According to the recently released government data, the country's defense production has crossed Rs 1.5 lakh crore for the first time.

Speaking on this, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh attributed this achievement to the joint efforts of the Department of Defence Production, Ministry of Defence, Defence Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), other government-owned manufacturers, and private industry.

While India's defense production was Rs 79,071 crore in 2019-20, today it has increased by 90 percent to cross Rs 1.5 lakh crore. At the same time, it is 18 percent more than the figure of Rs 1.2 lakh crore for 2024-25.
