Dry ginger, also called Shunthi in Ayurveda, is actually dried ginger, which gives us many health benefits. There are many ways to consume dry ginger, one of which is to make dry ginger water and drink it and the other is to eat its powder mixed with honey.
Benefits of consuming dry ginger
Improves digestion: During the rainy season, due to humidity and contaminated water, bacteria and viruses get a chance to spread rapidly, which affects our digestive system. In such a situation, the consumption of dry ginger can prove to be very beneficial for us. Its regular consumption relieves the problem of flatulence, indigestion etc.

This is why by consuming it in rainy season, we remain safe from cough and cold. If you want, you can eat dry ginger powder mixed with honey every day or you can drink its water. It can be consumed in both ways. Mixing two pinches of dry ginger powder in one teaspoon of honey and licking it after warming it slightly is beneficial.

Make dry ginger water like this
Add half a teaspoon of dry ginger powder in one liter of water and put it to boil. When the quantity of water reduces to 750 ml, then turn off the flame. Now keep this water in a vessel and consume it throughout the day. If you want, when the water is boiling, you can also add a little ground black pepper (one-fourth of dry ginger) to it, this will not only reduce the sore throat but will also help in reducing joint pain and swelling.
