DRDO has invited applications for 20 apprentice posts for diploma and ITI holders. Interested candidates can apply till 14 August 2025.

The Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) has released recruitment for a total of 20 posts of Diploma and ITI Apprentice. Through this apprenticeship, you can not only learn new technologies, but can also make a great start to your career.

Who can apply?

Candidates applying for a diploma apprenticeship should have done diploma in engineering or technology from a recognized institute. Whereas, candidates applying for ITI apprenticeship must have a certificate in vocational course from a recognized institute. The age of the applicants should be at least 18 years and at most 27 years.

What will the selection process be like?

Selection for apprenticeship in DRDO will be done on the basis of verification of the academic records and documents of the candidates. There will be no examination, but it is important that your documents and qualifications are completely correct and valid.

How much will the salary be?

Diploma apprentices will be given Rs 8,000 per month.

ITI apprentices will get a stipend of Rs 7,000 per month.

How long will the apprenticeship be?

The duration of this apprenticeship has been fixed by DRDO as 1 year. During this period, you will be given training related to technical knowledge, operation of machines and modern defense technology.
