Friends, India celebrated its 79th Independence Day on 15 August with great pomp and show, like every year Prime Minister Narendra Modi hoisted the tricolor at the historic Red Fort in Delhi - this tradition is a symbol of independence and unity of the country. Interestingly, the Red Fort, built in 1648 by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan, reminds of India's rich Mughal heritage. But do you know what the Mughals have built in Pakistan, let's know-

Built in 1648 by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan.

Lahore Fort - Its foundation was laid by Emperor Akbar in 1566.
Badshahi Mosque, Lahore - Built by Shah Jahan in memory of his father.
Rohtas Fort - Built in 1547 by Sher Shah Suri, later under the Mughals.
Shalimar Gardens, Lahore - Built in the 17th century by Aurangzeb.
