Nowadays, services like mobile bills, Visa bills, EMI, OTT subscriptions, insurance and mutual funds have to be paid every month or every year. To use services like mobile bills, Visa bills, EMI, you have to spend a fixed amount every month. But often we forget to make all the payments, due to which the services get stopped and many problems arise. But keeping this problem of the users in mind, in 2020, National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) has started UPI AutoPay facility. With the help of this service, you can set a 'mandate' once in any UPI app and after that your regular payments can be completed automatically.

This service offers several benefits to customers, including avoiding late fees, not having to manually make payments each time, and making payments securely. Specifically, you can set up AutoPay for credit card bills, mutual funds, and insurance with a limit of up to ₹1 lakh. How to set up AutoPay on PhonePe?

If you're using Phone Pay, the process to set up AutoPay is very simple.

First of all open the Phone Pay app on your smartphone.

Now tap your profile photo at the top left of the screen.

Next, scroll down and go to the Payment Settings section.

Here you will see the AutoPay button, click on it.

Now a new screen will open in front of you, where you can select the mandate for which you want to set up 'Auto-Pay'.

Finally, the app will ask you to enter your UPI PIN. Once you enter the PIN, the AutoPay mandate will be set and your payment will be processed every time thereafter.

How to set up AutoPay on Google Pay?

First, open Google Pay on your phone. Then, tap your profile photo in the top right.

Then click on the AutoPay section.

Here you'll see mandates for different services, which you can manage.
If you're setting up AutoPay for a specific service, go to the Pending section, select that mandate, and click the Accept button.
Now, enter your UPI PIN and set up AutoPay.
