Veteran Bollywood legend Dharmendra was posthumously honoured with the prestigious Padma Vibhushan, one of India’s highest civilian awards, during an emotional ceremony held at the Rashtrapati Bhavan on May 25.

The award was received on his behalf by his wife and veteran actress Hema Malini, who appeared visibly emotional while accepting the honour from Droupadi Murmu.
