She has equaled the record for most international wickets held by former Indian fast bowler Jhulan Goswami. Deepti achieved this feat during the Women's T20 World Cup Group A match against the Netherlands women's cricket team. In the match played in Leeds, she bowled three overs, conceding 26 runs, and took one wicket. With this wicket, her total number of wickets in international cricket reached 355. Now, both Deepti Sharma and Jhulan Goswami have 355 wickets each.
