Some items remain unspoiled even after being offered to God. This leaves many people wondering whether they can be purified and reused in a puja.

If you use silver, brass, or copper utensils for worship, they can be reused. Similarly, durable items like idols, bells, conch shells, mantra beads, conch shells, and seating items can also be reused

However, items like offerings, water, flowers, garlands, sandalwood paste, kumkum, incense sticks, coconut, unbroken rice grains, and leftover oil or ghee from a lit lamp should never be used again in worship. Reusing them destroys their purity and sanctity

However, you can reuse Tulsi leaves offered to God in worship. If for some reason Tulsi leaves are not available, you can use them again in worship. Because Tulsi never becomes impure or stale. It is considered self-purifying

After offering the bael leaf to God, it can be washed and reused; there is no harm in doing so. However, it should not be broken, torn, or stained. According to the Shiva Purana, bael leaf does not become stale for six months
