Cristiano Ronaldo banned

Football legend Cristiano Ronaldo has been banned for 30 days and fined $285, the Portuguese Football Association announced on Monday. Ronaldo clashed with coach Jorge Jesus during a Portuguese national football team camp over his role in the team.

The Portuguese Federation's disciplinary unit found the 41-year-old Ronaldo's allegations completely justified. He was subsequently banned for 30 days and fined $285. However, Ronaldo's side of the story is also interesting, as he has accused coach Jesus of breaking his promise twice.

Cristiano Ronaldo left the Portugal camp before the Nations League match against Denmark. Ronaldo alleged that he was not used as a substitute against Norway and that the coach had twice broken his promise regarding his role in the team. The matter became even more heated when coach Jesus dismissed all these allegations and stated that the door was open for Ronaldo's return to the team.

It was reported that Ronaldo had violated Article 160(1) of the disciplinary regulations. The statement did not disclose for which matches and for what period Ronaldo will be suspended for 30 days, or whether his suspension has already been completed.

Ronaldo can appeal this punishment, but he has already apologized. He stated that he expected the punishment in advance. He has not personally responded to the 30-day suspension and fine. Regarding the Nations League, Ronaldo played in the opening match against Wales, but was not used even as a substitute against Norway on September 27th.
