This concert is going to be held on 25 and 26 January at Narendra Modi Stadium. Meanwhile, news is coming that a team of National Security Guard (NSG) will be a part of the security of the concert of British rock band Coldplay in Ahmedabad. 

Huge security arrangements have been made for this event. Let us tell you, this stadium is the world's largest cricket stadium, in which more than 1 lakh people can sit. During this concert, 3,825 policemen will be deployed in and around the stadium. Ahmedabad's Joint Police Commissioner Neeraj Badgujar said that the security team will include 14 Deputy Commissioners, 25 Assistant Commissioners, 63 Inspectors, 142 Sub-Inspectors and more than 3,500 constables.

Security arrangements tightened for Ahmedabad concert 

The concert will also be attended by many VIPs and celebrities from India and around the world. Joint Police Commissioner Neeraj Badgujar said that in view of the movement of more than 1 lakh spectators every day, elaborate security and law and order arrangements have been made. The Ahmedabad City Crime Branch and Special Operations Group (SOG) will keep a watch at several strategic locations including metro stations. The metro will be used by spectators to reach the stadium. 

This will be the concert time 

Along with the police teams, three quick response teams, one State Disaster Response Force and ten bomb detection and disposal teams will be deployed. The NSG team will be present at the hotel and other main venues where the band crew will stay. Apart from this, medical and paramedical teams will also be on standby. Disaster management and evacuation plan has been prepared for emergency. The concert timings will be from 5:30 pm to 10 pm, but the gates will be opened at 2 pm.
