Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal and his wife Dhanashree Verma have finally officially divorced. Yes, the couple has legally finalized the divorce. Chahal and Dhanashree were called to appear in the Family Court in Bandra, Mumbai, where both of them completed the final proceedings by consent.
A video is also going viral on social media at this time in which both Yuji and Dhanashree can be seen walking towards their car and leaving the Bandra Family Court. During this, both of them are also wearing masks to hide their faces. Previous reports also indicated that after the divorce, Yuji has given a huge alimony of Rs 60 crore to Dhanashree Verma.
Media reports suggest that the decision to separate was taken with mutual consent. A lawyer present in the Bandra court confirmed this. For the past few weeks, rumours of a rift and divorce between the couple were doing the rounds on social media. However, neither Yuzvendra nor Dhanashree commented publicly on these speculations. It is being said that the two got divorced due to incompatibility.
Interestingly, just hours before appearing in court, both Yuzvendra and Dhanashree expressed their gratitude to God on social media. This post of both of them indicated that the two have separated. Chahal wrote on Instagram Story, "I cannot count the number of times God has saved me. So I can only imagine the times when I was saved, which I did not even know about. Thank you God, for always being with me, even when I did not know. Amen."
While Dhanashree wrote, "From stress to blessings. Isn't it amazing how God can turn our worries and trials into blessings? If you are stressed about something today, know that you have a choice. You can either keep worrying or you can surrender everything to God and choose to pray for everything. There is power in believing that God can work all things together for your good."
